For the past six months, election talk has plagued our televisions, newspapers, social media feeds, and day-to-day conversations. Tensions are at an all time high, and unless you live under a rock, it’s likely that you’ve seen a number of dissenting opinions across the spectrum. This year’s election is crucial for several reasons. Not only are we choosing to elect a President of the United States to serve our country for the next four years, but it’s likely that the incumbent will be appointing not one, not two, but four new Supreme Court justices. A Democrat/Republican is likely to decide on magistrates with homogeneous beliefs and attitudes to their own, so this is monumental.
